Applicant Requirements:
To be considered, applicants must meet all local and state requirements, including:

Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
-
Current and valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification issued by the Michigan Department of Education (MDE)
-
State of Michigan licensure (if applicable)

Completion of a supervised internship (minimum of 600 hours) in a school setting
-
Previous experience in a K-12 educational setting preferred
-
Ability to pass a background check and fingerprint clearance as required by the school district
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct psychological evaluations and interpret test results to assess students cognitive, academic, emotional, and behavioral development
-
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide direct and consultative services to students, parents, teachers, and school staff
-
Offer crisis intervention and support as needed
-
Support Response to Intervention (RTI) and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) frameworks
-
Monitor progress and make data-driven recommendations for student success

Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and reevaluation processes
